i have not seen this site before and did some snooping and found this vid. since i have not seen this site or heard of it, it seemed worthy of sharing.

[video:google]http://www.youfish2.com/video/10/MASSIVE-Skeena-River-Steelhead-landed-on-fly[/video]

this site seems very cool, hope you think so too.

Noel Gyger used to own Northwest fishing guides out of Terrace BC and now runs a very successfull website that sponsors many of the Terrace and Kitimat area guides. His crew filmed this a few summers ago on the main river Skeena. This fish is easy over twenty five pounds, caught on a fly and fresh from the Skeena! I can't even fathom the energy a fish like that has when caught that low in the system especially being a summer run fish. We have hooked some real dandies a hundred miles upriver that literally leave you out of breath heartbroken wondering what you could have done to change the outcome! I've watched this video a few times already and I'll just have to check it out one more time! thank you for posting this.

The dude that caught that fish was assuredly listening to "One" or "The Trees" before heading oot. It's only logical but hey maybe we shouldn't let everyone in our secret method. wink

That lucky SOB.

First timer with a fly rod catching a fish of a lifetime. Lookin' like a complete retard on video. Guy probably thinks he's an "expert" now.

Hey, wait a minute.....

laugh

I know, it's like Parker was really meant to catch that specific fish regardless of the hazards involved. Crazy stuff I tell ya.
