I rushed my wife to the hospital at 1 am this morning. My boy was born at 9:14 this morning...7lbs.11oz.

Had to laugh a bit as my girlfriends oldest{28} was born the day after.All I have heard is horror stories concerning making the kids birthday special being the day after.She would always tear down the christmas tree the night of christmas etc..I just asked her if she had any advice and she laughed and you have nothing to worry about as you have a boy!

My boy made me antsy when he was young. Once he became about 4 we started having fun together.
This year (he's 10) has been the best. He's learned to proficiently cast a bait caster and not bitch about cold or rain (helps that there is a propane in the front seat). I've never had more fun fishing. He's into it and I'm having a ball watching and participating.
I'm not saying the same thing can't happen with a a daughter...I'm sure it can I just don't happen to have one.
Kids are awesome.
Oh yeah while out of town for Christmas the little bastard got invited out to bass fish and cooned em. Other kid's dad said the boy was money. Proud.

Congratulations, my son was born on Christmas Eve morning 22 years ago and we brought him home Christmas morning.......best Christmas ever. We always make sure to celebrate his birthday and Christmas separately.

I think having b-day on xmas is more of a hassle for the gift giver than the reciever.
