I am fairly new to the state of WA and I am wondering is there anywhere close to Southwest Snohomish County area where you can camp, ride trailbikes and shoot guns? Just some desolation camping where these things are not against the rules.

I am not a jackass or looking to screw up anyones secret spots or anything I just cant seem to find anywhere besides the Ellensberg area or further that incorporates these things in one area.

You might be better off to ask your question on the hunting forum. Welcome to the area.

So basically no shooting in the forests or other State or Fed land around here?

Is riding trail bikes in these camp areas (say Mt. Pilchuck area for instance) illegal?

I have tried looking over the state regs etc. but I thought I would get better input from real people.

Thanks so much for the comments and help folks.

Would the Ellensberg area be the closest I could partake in said activities without being on the wrong side of right?

Thats what I am saying, people hunt on quads all over the country. Seems like WA would be riddled with places where this was allowed.

Just letting dude know that he will get busted target shooting out there. The maintained trails are open to motorized vehicles but the DNR roads are gated and signed no motorized vehicles or shooting. It was a great place before the tweeks. There are some reely nice beever ponds hiding back in those woods.

They might as well just put up a sign that says "leave your smile at home" any more. There is so much money in the brush out there that dnr patrolls it heavily.

I can not think of anywhere on this side of the puddle?!

Do some research on the Tanuem creek (near ellensburg) some awesome riding/camping there.Or if into some racing look into the stumpjumpers motorcycle club.Alot of good people there.
They have classes for all skills and end up going to some great riding areas.

Ditto.

Places like that in WA are getting few & far between due to litter bugs & vandals.

I have shooting spots, but keep those to myself. Especially my 350 yard range.
