I would recommend calling Three Rivers Resort for reports as they tend to be pretty tuned in to the local scene with guide's success at least as well as the fishability of each river.

360-374-5300

There are other resources out there as well, including USGS Hydro and webcams. I would recommend searching through archived posts on this site for those links.

From the hatchery launch walk precisely 100 paces down river. Turn right and walk another 100 paces. Find the brown rock shaped like a horseshoe. Cast upriver at a 45 degree angle with your blue fox spinner. Let sink exactly 4 seconds. slowly reel in at a pace of about 1 crank every 2 seconds. In exactly 21 seconds you'll have your fish.

welcome to PP.

Nice to see ya have a sense of humor. Gotta be a little thick skinned around these parts. If you go to "theferngallery.com" there is a web cam that gives a hot of the river and gives a pretty good idea of the color of the river. Welcome aboard.

We have caught silvers on plug cut hot dogs, but that was in the salt at Sekiu. Don't have any pics of that, or of the poptart wrapper lure we used, unfortunately.

Use a nice big glob of Velveeta, fished under a red & white bobber, right below the falls at the hatchery. Be there at first light. Guaranteed.

Better yet, run a K-16 with a bannana wrap from a side planer.

Keep in mind, you will not catch as many fish, but the ones you do catch will be porkers. Sumptin bout K-16's (blue pirate), wrapped with a fillet of bannana, that calls in dem double red stripers everytime.

The locals will give you a hard time, its just cause they don't want info like this gettin around.

Persevere.
