I tend to agree. With a rare high quality fish in beautiful surroundings, it needs to be about the fish not the man himself. Cobble Cruiser set the bar on that concept, thanks Danny.

We took a quick 8-10 shots w/ 2 cameras, Sam looking up, big grin, I slipped in next to him for the buddy shot, even a goofy double Mingo cuz we were so pumped.

But for that timeless quality that captures the moment, this one is far & away the best IMHO

I have had some good mentors and willing fish these past three years; nothing more.

That picture of Bob's client the day before is a dandy. Bob may have a second job to fall back on.

It looks like you hypnotized that man and then put a big fish in his hands. Awesome fish!

Congrats Sam and Big B! Sounds like an epic day. I'm sure that Bob even managed a grin for that one, considering his usual view.... wink

And a few pretty shots from some of the selective fishing waters we did on Saturday. Remember its not all about big numbers or even steelhead for that matter.

The one nate we hit came unbuttoned @ the end of the fight before we could snap a pic.

We had a blast having a whole drift to our lonesome self, fished some Spey & single hand swinging the fly through some picture perfect runs, single hand nymph, centerpin, & a spin rod w/ float & jig (me)

Not in this lifetime, but as to the fishing say when & where.

After a long day fishing snugging on your boats body condom gives me a good chance to stretch out on the cobble & de-kink the back....... grin

I'll bet you guys made many "fine spey casts"....

Given the title of your thread, I couldn't help but bring this around for another look.
