Oh well, no reason to fish this weekend, as the Super Bowl will be on.

That explains why the lower river is so colored. Guess it's some sort of sign to kick me in the ass, make me go to the Commission meeting this weekend. beer

This just in:

Wynoochee River closed for remainder of 2010 due to unsafe shoreline erosion.

Damnit, I guess I will have to just sit at home and watch for a nipple on Sunday.

Now if the river had been that high when we floated my canoe down from the barrier dam through the Weatherwax canyon we wouldn't have had to worry about that portage. Wouldn't have had to worry about surviving either. The care people have for one another on this board is amazing some times.

This is why all pic's should have to have the "time stamp" turned on....

but the lower river is muddy, cause the farmers field on the west side of the river, below bridge at Black Creek...keeps falling in......I think about 6-8 feet has fallen away this season.......just about cut the "slide hole" off............

Yeah, that lower wash was a bummer, and then adding the recent slide up top, it ain't pretty.

Wouldn't it be something if the river was completely devoid of people tomorrow?

Oops!......I'll wake up now.

Hey, gimme a break! It's been a while since I floated that section.

I completely forgot about the Stilly hole on that river!

I heard that the big rains last night really didn't help things on the Nooch.

It's gotta be really puked out by now!

Yeah........but it's not puking trees and mud, it's puking driftboats and sleds.

Hundreds of 'em.
