Are you in the Forks area and have a 16' drift boat you're not using March 5th/6th? I'm an accomplished oarsman, have rowed everything in the area, and am looking to rent a boat for one or two days for lower Hoh drifts for me and my son and an old friend. My policy is, if I sink it, I buy it.

If you don't find anything in Forks you could tow my boat from the Edmonds area. 17' Hyde. Just another option and free. No rod holders though.

Why no rod holders?

Old school way is to just run pegs, keeps the front seater on their toes.

Because I don't pull plugs with a fly rod.

It sounds like my boat might not be a good set up for him. Mine's an inline more set up for flyfishing (passenger front and back). A traditional DB with 2 up front would work better. The youngster upfront could be given assistance by the other adult.
