Any of you follow lost? if so what do you think about this season so far?

I watch it. I'm liking this season because in all of the previous seasons you didn't get much answered. I am glad they aren't going to do a long term run on the show.

Its one of those shows that does nothing more than entertain me. There's not a whole lot to be gained by watching it but the wife and I watch it together once a week after the kids are asleep (DVR).

I gave up predicting what will happen next and just take it as it comes.

the show is seriously far out. I have been hooked from the beginning. they are talking about good vs. evil a lot this year. my qustion is, what was so good about Jacob?

What is this infection that Claire and syeed have?? did the french lady have the same issues?

I am up in the air on Jacob/the guy posing as Locke. I can't decide which one is good and which one is evil.

"Guilty." I watched the very first episode of Lost and got hooked. I'm not a sci fi fan, but I've always taken an interest to "survival in the woods." (I thought that was what Survivor was about until I watched it -- big disappointment; it's a game show like Wheel of Fortune, only without Vanna White.) I am enjoying this season's episodes, but it's all I can do to follow and understand, which I think makes for better TV entertainment.

Black smoke = Jacob = "infection" = Locke raised from the dead = Evil. I don't get how or why some of the cast are now apparently "evil." Could be I have it wrong, or it will come out in future episodes.

Since I watch the show it's probably at least semi-nerd material.

I'm a fan as well...wife and I watch it on Hulu.

I think you are right. There was a scene where Locke turned into the black smoke and killed some gaurds/"others". after he turned to Ben and something like, "sorry you had to witness this."

Do you guys remember the scene last year where Jacob was sitting on the beach with a dude in a black tunic? I think he is the evil guy inhabiting locke.. from the setting it looked like the 1700's based on the pirate ship floating in the background.

I'm pretty sure that the black smoke and Jacob used to be the same, until Jacob was killed by Ben Linus in the first episode of this season, and now the fake Locke is the Black Smoke.

The dude sitting with Jacob on the beach last season is now the black smoke/Locke.

Never watched it until 3 years ago at Chez Ball, and I have tried my best to keep up since to no avail......it helped when they ran that re-cap at the start of this season.

The kid in the woods has me guessing. Sawyer's just ticked off about losing Juliet and now he doesn't really care so he's hanging with fake Locke. My guess is he'll be infected soon.

I still don't count out Ben Linus and the group that he's hanging out with, something will happen there.

Totally Agree. The others and all there weird secrets. What do the really know. and how about Richard Alpart?? (the dude that never ages..) what is his role?

Richard Alpart was a middle man between Jacob and the others but I don't know where he stands now.

I don't think we've seen the last of Charles Whitmore either. He'll be back so I think.

I'm a dead ringer for Jack. All I have to do is; lose about 30lbs, grow 5 inches, get some plastic surgery, and have a little orthodontic work, other than that I'm set.
