I hate to do it but I am moving up to a bigger boat for the family. So I am selling my 89 16 foot Sea Explorer. The boat has a 94 70HP evinrude oil injected two stroke and a 94 6 HP evinrude kicker. Both in excellent condition. Very Clean motors, the main has 335 hrs but the head was rebuilt under warranty at 180 hrs. Also comes with two penn manual downriggers, pota potty, full standard canvas, two fish on rod holders ( just replaced) anchor and rode , fenders,a fishfinder (dated) and a EZ loader roller trailer. I have just replaced all switches in boat, replaced the bow and stern lights with new factory replacements, upgraded trailer to electric winch, built a new custom motor well table out of starboard, replaced two rod holders (under the gunwale) added a water/fuel separator, replaced a couple worn rollers on trailer, and replaced the VRO pump in november with a new one ($500). The motors run great. The boat has been very well cared for since new and shows it. Always either garaged (previous owner) or been stored in a tent (me). The boat is ready to go for fishing and the only thing I would do if I were to keep it would be to update the fishfinder. I am asking $8000, and am pretty firm on the price becuase of the condition of boat and motors, but might be willing to negotiate or work a partial tade.
