Started off last year with this nice bear.

The last weekend of the season, was lucky enough to take this guy

Duck hunting this year was challenging. Did have some good days.

Took the girlfriend out, and we got this huge honker

We have a late season for these guys. You can only hunt of private land. Had some really good days.

The Humboldt Nation eh?

Ive wandered around down there a few times. I have some friends in Hoopa on the Trinity. Yes, They are tribal members.........

I also have a "Where in the hell is Weitchpec ?" Sticker on my drift boat. It never fails, Someone asks me about it.

Willierower, No worries. I just finished a 2 1/2 year assignment to the Hoopa Rez. Met a lot of good people on the square. I miss having the Trinity in my backyard, but it is good to get back to the coast.

Do you know Merv and Poppy? How about Jude Hollister? Great people, Fun to hang out with. Merv is a mad man behind the wheel of his race boat and Im just dumb enough to ride with him.

Yup I know Merv (yellow hammer), helped him with the jet boat races two or three years ago. I think he moved off the rez. I know Jude too, but never got a chance to fish with him. Saw him at Mill Creek a few times.

Merv and I at Roseburg..........

Merv to the Bay Area. He took a job with the Forest Circus.

Last year, I tried to fish the tourny that Jude put on. Once again work got in the way of having fun. I really want to get down there when the 1/2 pounders are in.
