About a 1/4" of hail on the ground at my house this morning.

Everything is covered in a snow/hail mix here on the other side of the valley.

Coastal rivers down here have been unseasonably high. when they have dropped into shape it has been lights out.yes, the weather has been weird. snow in april?

Snowing but no build up here in Leavenworth.Won't be long till I can nail those S.Columbia steelies....You guys can have the springers.

Somebody with enough influence needs to tell Mother Nature to get it together. April is traditionally my favorite month to fish year-round lakes, with the biggest, hungriest trout aggressively feeding on the bigger bites they should be seeing this time of year. I usually depend on April to rebuild my confidence after months of marginally fruitful steelhead fishing.

Not happening yet. Water's too cold. Lake fishing has been chironomids or bust so far, and that generally means bust for me, since I hate fishing that way (feels too much like dunking worms and waiting).

Well, at least we are expecting to see sunshine, if not warmer temperatures, this weekend.

There was enough hail after dumping in Woodinville to do the same here in Monroe.

Must have been blowing 40-50 mph for the 15 minutes the hail storm came down.

BTW, congrats on the new fishing buddy. I'll get a blanket and a water dish for the back seat of my Tahoe.

just watched the news at noon.. and the gal was saying snow level could be down to around 500ft tonight...

Funny how the unbeleivers are quick to jump on a cold snap. Any thoughts on the fact January and February were among our warmest ever?

I read today two more glaciers have disappeared from Glacier Park.

Snowed over here on the east side today with 40 mph winds. Perfect horizontal snow fall.

Last Friday we were on the Duc. Sideways rain and hail. Wind blowing us up the Shuwah rapids. It was crazy. I didn't think it could get any worse....it kept getting worse. That was April 2. The truck felt good at the end of that drift. Never seen my kid fold to the weather. He came close that day. Tough little bastage he is. Probably got it from his mom. She's pretty mean.

Lock her and Todd and Pat Grahm in the murder van for an hour. She's the only one coming out.....

Not to mention her questionable judgement of character......
