Making some vehicle changes around the house here, and selling my 1983 Chevy 4X4.

1983 Chevy Custom Deluxe C-20 (3/4 ton)

350 V8 - 4 speed manual

158,000 miles on original motor. NOT an oil burner!

Original clutch is in good shape..plenty of freeplay and no slippage.

Dual fuel tanks with factory in-dash tank switch.

Has 8000 WARN winch and WARN winch front bumper.

WARN front locking hubs

Has Class III hitch, with double plug sets. (4 pin + full blown trailer plug for trailer brakes, etc.)

Exterior is in good shape, but does have a little ding here and there. Interior is OK, but the top of the dashboard has cracks in the plastic..(strictly a cosmetic issue).

4 Wheel drive works excellent. This truck can crawl through anything. NEVER ABUSED.

This truck runs very well, and would be super for both yard work or hauling your boat locally.

$1500 OR BEST OFFER. (And it's worth every penny of it, too!) This truck HAS TO GO!! It has been sitting way too long, and needs someone who will clean it up, and use it!

Send me a PM, or I'll be glad to answer any questions here.

Mike

Believe it or not, we got enough SUN yesterday that I could get out and take a few pics of the truck.

Also, I forgot to add earlier that the truck has WARN locking hubs.

Drivers side:

Passenger side:

Side

Interior:

The truck is set up for trailer brakes, and has both the large plug and a 4 pin plug for lights at the fully welded Class III hitch.

I would not be selling this, except that I now have the Tundra which can more than handle my little DB.

Folks:

This really is a great running truck, especially for this price!

It'll haul your boat (or anything else) anywhere you need it done. With dual tanks you have a long range capability.

You might be wondering what it needs to be in "excellent" condition?

Here is what I would do if I were to buy this truck today:

1) Recover/stuff front seat.

2) recover dashboard.

3) replace small vacuum hoses on motor. (They are working fine, but need replacement).

Mechanically, this truck is VERY sound. Motor runs excellent, 4 WD works excellent, clutch is strong, brakes are over 50% still.

It's a steal at $1500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Make some young man happy and give him a present he will never forget.

ISO...I thought you truly were a "Concretion" beings that it's September and you still have Christmas lights up in that second photo...then I saw that you originally posted way back in Christmas of '05. Good luck on the truck...sounds like a bargain, can't believe some ol' wood cutter ain't picked it up by now.

OK...had to relist this truck again. Honestly, I've made no great efforts to sell in the last few months. I even drove it a few times just to keep it running good.

Dropped the price to $1500 or best offer...hell, the winch alone is worth $500! It is a great truck for some young person with energy to clean it up and make it useful again. Mechanically very sound, and it's a real work horse!
