As part of my memorial day projects I've been cleaning up the house... We have a couple hundred pounds of scrap metal of various types... Mostly iron (piping from fence posts), and some other pieces demoed during a recent remodel (includes 100lbs of 3/8" maybe brass sheet metal).

1. Is any of this worth something, or is it just trash?
2. If it is valuable, where do I go to sell it?
3. Are these guys reputable enough to tell me what the plates are and what they're worth, or should I figure that out first?

Thanks!

Just lock it in your rig and park at Ben Howard boat launch...some tweakers will bust out your window and steal all the scrap within a few hours...done.

Fish on...

needs to be at least 500 lbs before Arrow pays. Other than that they will "take it off your hands". The brass may be a different story. I am working on my own pile now waiting til I have enough to get paid before I take it in.
