G. Loomis GL3 1141s W/ Shimano Symetre 2500FL
9'6" 4-8lb 2pc
$180 (you can't even buy the GL2 for this price)
the rod is nearly perfect with the exception of soiled (not soaked. lmfao)cork, and that just proves it will and does catch fish.

Ok, whats the specs on the 9' is it close to a IMX 1082s(6-10 lb. mod-fast action) or a little more like GL-3 blank??

I would say it falls somewhere inbetween the GL3 and IMX, 6-12lb mod-fast action. these rods load killer alowing you to throw a #2 BC Steel a country mile, as well as loading with just a little weight (couple of small split-shot and a size 14 nymph)and still being able to throw a good 50-75 ft. The blanks appear almost exactly the same as the IMX, and being 4 pc. they are nearly as fast also. I've landed numerous fish, both salmon and steelhead, in the high teens to mid 20's on these blanks while still having power to spare.

$185, used less than a dozen times. I've got an 1141 casting rod and the spinner just stays home, wayt oo nice to let sit. I bought it as a rod for guests to use when out in my drift boat, but my back is so f'ed up I can't pull on the sticks.
