There aren't any additives that can really do much to help prevent the actual potential problems with E10. The labels like to make you think they can, but like many other types of advertising , fuel additive claims can be a little misleading.

If it's your "last ever tank" why do you feel you need it?

I went through problems from ethanol fuel and after a bunch of diging I just use the stuff my motor manufacture sells. No warranty issues!! I would do the same with that big E-tec.
Personally I think Sta-bil has a big marketing budget and isn't what it's cracked up to be.

Ive seen stable at Wal Mart.But not the Marine stuff.I think I got my last jug at a parts store.Napa maybe.

I found regular non-ethanol fuel at Pacific Pride on Industrial way in Longveiw and now the non-ethanol is working through the fuel system ,what a difference! My Evinrude 88 SPL used to "cough" at idle and run sparadicly even with the Sta-bill ethanol treatment, Had new plugs, thermastats, fuel filter, etc. and now she's back to planing again with little effort.

Because like an idiot, I topped off my tank with that E-10 crap on the last trip. Tried unsuccessfully to siphon it onto my truck and I have no place to store it.

Gonna be a while before it all gets burnt so I figured I'll treat what's left.

Also be nice to have a supply in case I have to fill somewhere where E-0 is unavailable. Neah Bay and Buoy 10 come to mind.

I've ran mine with the stabill for a couple years now and have noticed minor improvments... The cold weather is when things get worse... The hot summer days, the big motor seems to purr a little better....

In fresh E10 Stabil will do nothing, the only thing it will, or can do, is keep your fuel fresh longer, the same thing it does for non E fuel.

It does have some corrosion preventing ingredients, but for the most part these are cheap solvents and various types of oil.

Well there's your problem! Get out and go fishing and crabbing!!
