Fished westport today 270,170-200' no birds no bait no luck,charter boats reported slow day also,here's to our summer and an easterly blow for the weekend. Anybody hear anything about bouy 10? One report read some fish out in front of Chinook one small king with 2 other strikes, but hey it's a big river.Got 2 days left on my vacation,been north,west thinking about south anybody got a suggestion,enjoy the heat folks might just take the kid to a movie for some popcorn and A/C, good hunting everyone

saw a report on the other board. oregon game check about 1000 people Thur aug. 11 fishing bouy 10 they had 33 kings 2 silvers and 1 steelhead. bouy 10 is bad

Buoy 10 was on fire today. I fished it yesterday and we got 1 fish then I had to head home and they fished today and saw fish all over the place. Daylight till 10 from the shipwreck to the church, they saw some doubles and triples on. Its go time

Buddy of mine got three Coho after quite a bit of sorting..

Dudes I knew were out for the afternoon play trip.... They ended up with 2 for 3 hours of fishing....

A co-worker fished Fri. and Sat. for one chinook on a spinner. Lots of fish showing on the finder, but they weren't on the snap. Water was 67*F. I hope they get snappy; I begin fishing there Friday.

We saw water temps up to 71 degrees on the out and down to lower 60's on the in. Those high water temps is part of what makes the fishin good though.

Tides are dialed for this weekend, just got the report that fishing was cutting loose a bit this afternoon. Buddy had a dozen bites in 3 hours...

Fished Westport yesterday.....absolutely amazing weather and sea conditions....I have never seen the ocean so flat..no bar....It was overcast and cool....went south to Willapa and started at 235....We were done in less than two hours with a 22, 12, and an 8 and 10 Coho. I wish I would have released the smaller fish since the bite really came on fast and furious. Kind of the theory that you can trade up and lose.....

Saw two smaller whales working the area...Looked like pilot whales..lots of dolphins and fish eating machine Seal Lions. Altogether an amazing day on the water.
