Team eyeFISH scored 4 for 11 on Sat with four rods.

Went 9 for 18 on Sun with 5 rods. LMWS got cheated of a limit on the last pass by a 500 pounder.

GDITMMM!

That said, it was still a glory day from beginning to end.

What a glory day it was...although Friday and Saturday were okay it ended on a high note for sure. For us (Sleddddder, Ondarvr, and Salmo G) the spinner bite was flat out en fuego. We put 4 Chinook in the box and 3 hatchery coho. Couldn't find that last hatchery coho as those darn chinook just kept getting in the way. Not a bad problem to have. Another great time with good friends and fun putting faces to names and fishing with a couple PP members. Here's a pic of our big fish for the weekend although there were a couple others close and Ondarvr definitely lost a Toad that just flat out abused him! Great fun!

We had a good week, fishing Monday through Thursday last week. Two days with Red's Guide service (excellent guide) and the other two on our own. Our group of six came home with 12 fish and we lost so many I couldn't keep count. Lost my hot orange and white spinner early Thursday afternoon when a big King broke me off at the diver making it's 3rd run from the boat (note to self; re-tie all knots after landing big fish). Kent at Three Rivers told me to buy that spinner and I shouldn't have cheaped out and bought just one.

Nice meeting you last week FNP, glad to see you did well over the weekend.

I have been invited to fish Buoy 10 next week. I have never fished it and the guy I am going is, I suspect, equally clueless. Most of my fishing is Puget Sound with downriggers/flashers/hootchies and or herring. Can someone give me of the "best" gear I should take with me. I see mention of spinners...colors/types? Thanks! I will try to stay out of your way!

Go to Three River's Marine in Woodinville and see Kent. He will help you out with what you need and provide some tips. Try to get a guide for the day and you will learn a ton of information in a short time. Good Luck.

Scratched for a silver Friday and Saturday, fishing 3 rods Fri. & 2 on Sat. The guy who was scheduled to fish with me Sun. had to work, so Sleddddder invited me to join him, Canyonman and Ondarvr. Sunday was productive, as reported above. I owe Canyonman a diver, flash, and spinner that was lost - along with the largish king attached thereto - due to a defective split ring on a Cabela's ball bearing snap-swivel. I recall FNP telling us to test all gear. Hmmm, good advice.

Mrs. Salmo joined me Monday, and I hoped for a repeat of Sunday. Not having as sophisticated electronics as Sleddddder, I had a bit harder time tracking my intended trolling line. Nonetheless it wasn't long before Mrs. Salmo got bit by a nice chinook. A while later an unmarked silver took a liking to her spinner, after which I decided my line needed a similar spinner, but there were no others. After high slack we decided to pick up, turn around, and troll downhill, but in the process Mrs. Salmo got bit reeling in her spinner, a smaller king. While I was taking care of the fish, she was straightening out her gear, checking to see that the lucky spinner was still working, when the snap on her flash, remember what FNP said about testing all gear? Anyway, that snap must have come open during or after netting the fish, and she reported that her flash and last of the lucky spinners were sinking out of sight. I rerigged both rods with something I hoped would become the "new" lucky spinners, but we trolled another hour or so without a hit. Drove home tired, but with a lot of fish in the cooler.

And a good word too. Only had a couple Sampo left, and Cabela's is close enough to run over during lunch, and well, now you know; now we all know.

Hey Canyonman, I've got a new fish flash and *******/******* spinner for you. Now was that diver a Delta?

That was an expensive weekend. Over $100 during a lunch break run for replacement gear.

Best $100 I'll bet you've spent for that 30lb king you took home. That was a nice fish. Yes, that was a Delta diver.

Was that your diver or Canyonman's?

BTW, no wonder that hog abused Ondarvr so. Something went gunnysack on my Ambassadeur, making it hard to reel in line under load. I'll check into it and may have to send it back to Brewer. BTW, that king was only 29, or an Orygun 40.
