PSA President ¼ Mile drag car stolen! Recovered!

I got a call from my buddy today that my 69 Chevy Nova ¼ mile drag car and trailer were stolen from his house where it was stored in Monroe. It was way north out of Monroe close to where the old shooting range was that was shut down. Please call me if you saw it going down the road. My buddies neighbor saw the guys that took it and they were in a Black Ford Diesel truck. It was stolen Friday afternoon. The car description was a blue 69 Chevy Nova with white wide stripes on the hood and trunk lid, It had a one piece fiberglass front end with a huge snorkel hood scoop. The Hood scoop had 468 CID on the hood and Elms Speed Shop written on it too and on the rear license plate. The trailer was white with a large white steel box on the front of it. The trailer tongue was unique as it had a trussed tounge on the front. The car had giant slicks on the rear and tiny tires on the front. It was not a street car at all. Ron, truly am sorry to hear this.
We all hope you get you ride back and the thieves get what they definitely deserve.

Unbelievable! They brought the car back! It is now recovered. I just got back tonight after seeing it. I need to tear into it and make sure they did not blow up or break the motor or trans. It was winterized. Everything appears to be ok at this point. They dumped it and took off at my buddies other house at night.
Thank you everyone for your help. Will report more when I get to talk to the officer that helped get it recovered.
