So why the secret? If you cant tell the name of the lake why bother to say anything at all. So just another fish story. Or a fictious tale

T M,
You notice I don't attempt to bore you with tales of my personal secret lake.
I will be holding a zen retreat there this weekend.
..... ANDDDD... I have a new fly to try out. It's a smallmouth fly, a cross between an olive woolly bugger and a popper.

Zen Leecher, would the cross between the bugger and popper be a Bopper?

T M,
Your "funny" asks a question I never considered. Me, I just thought this fly was a hybrid slider and was satisfied with the answer I got "it's for smallmouths".
Don't know if it really has a name either.
I wasn't joking when I said it was a cross between an olive woolly bugger and a popper. Now.. the popper head is reversed so its a slider.
Thought it might just be the thing to fool bigger trout who thought they'd seen (or bit) everything.
I read in a Warden Lake fishing report where this one guy used a rubber frog for trout.
