Hello-Theresa
I live about two miles from steilicoom. I have not fished it to much Only twice. Both times were right after they used weed killer in the lake.I have caught a boat load of rock bass and one smallmouth bass there. I need some info for largemouth. So I don't have to drive so far to catch fish. when, where, and what. maybe it was just the weed killer. I need to go check it. out. confused confused confused

When exactly was the week killer added? We fished it all last summer & through the winter. Of course the winter was slow, but last summer I caught one 18" Kokanee & a 16.5" largemouth. Also, we caught A LOT of your average size kokanee & rainbows about 12"s. There were a lot of largemouth caught but they were only about 10"s or smaller. If you want, you can e-mail me for specific details otherwise, this post will be kinda long. laugh

That would be steilicoom lake. Great lake to go see all the rich folk. eek and fish but watch out for jet skiers mad and good luck finding the lanch.

LOL yeah, the boat launch is the worst located & because of the "rich" people living there, there are no signs indicating where it is. There is very little parking space so you might want to get there before everyone else does. The launch itself is kinda a joke, too.
Other than that, it really is a great lake to hit. Holds Kokanee, Rainbows, Largemouth, Perch & Bullhead I think it is.
Tight Lines :p
