Too many fishes, not enough time, particularly to go hunting so I’d like to sell my shotguns.

16 gauge Winchester Model 24 Double Barrel: I bought is when I was in High School, it was either 1955 or ’56. They stopped making these in 1958.

It has seen many years of use but is in good shape, has some leading in the barrels from lead shot days. I haven’t fired it for probably 25 years since I went to a 20-gauge pump Sears Ted Williams made by Winchester several years ago. I never fired steel shot in this side by side gun.

I also have a 12 gauge Model 820 Stevens Pump shotgun with plastic stock that is over 60 years old that was my Dad’s shotgun. I had the firing pin replaced several years ago, thinking I’d use it for a saltwater duck and goose gun, but never did.

So, here they are:

Winchester 16 gauge Model 24 double barrel, #80604 Asking $350.

Ted Williams 20 gauge with poly choke, # P378752very good condition $150

Stevens Model 820 12 gauge pump shotgun no serial #. I’d think it would be a good gun for use around salt water since it is not an expensive gun. $95.00

I’ll provide photos to interested parties.

Left barrel modified, right full bore, 28 inch model.

I'm uncertain about the shipping procedure.

I've had a couple of request for photos of my shotguns that I'm selling.

Here are images of the Stevens Model 820 12 gauge.

Thanks LarryB

I'll take a look. A prospective buyer told me about the three main gun sales websites and I took a quick look.

It appears that I priced my Model 24 below what it actually may be worth.

I'll stick with my price, but hope to sell it to someone on this board in the general Seattle area.

What's a perch?

Oh, you probably mean those slimy little guys that I spent 40 minutes filleting with my electric knife last night.

I'm slowing down in my old age, or maybe it is because Vedder and I only got out the one time this year and I'm out of practice, I usually can do 50-60 of those guys into perch McNuggets in 30 minutes.

The Model 24 could come with a perch fishing trip, but the buyer would need to provide the boat. I'll provide the bait , rods and reels, sinkers and perch fishing leaders, and marker buoy.

If you don't want the model 24, I'll still provide the perch fishing gear and I am use to sharing the boat with black labs.

Let's hope the weather and time make it possible.

Say let' go fishing and I'm even less responsible about home chores than your puppie's owner in West Duvall.

Fish Pirate,

I have a board member in Olympia that wants to buy it, let me check to see if he is still interested? I'd much prefer to sell it closer to home than drive 85 miles todeliver it.

I'll get back to you.

FishPirate,

Sorry the Model 24 is going to a new home in Olympia on Tuesday, fortunately it is going to be picked up much closer so I won't have that long drive.

My Stevens 12 gauge went today.

I still have the 20 gauge Ted Williams pump, but it will probably be gone by mid-next week.

The 12 and 16 gauge guns are in the hands of their new owners, both PP members.

I still have the 20 gauge Ted Williams (made by Winchester) which is in excellent condition.

$150 including carrying case.

See photos in previous post.

If you'll take a $100 for it I'll give it to my nephew for Christmas.

Art,

I'm wavering about selling the 20 gauge, so best say no.

Appreciate the offer.
