Mr Micro Brew,

We know those "secret lakes" weren't in Lewis County..

Welcome to the secret lake club!

What the heck happened to your buddy the Trout Master?

Right you are, in fact, they aren't very secret but I have to try and tempt you....
Did you get over east last weekend? I have a high school graduation commitment on Sunday but hope to hit the water on Saturday - don't know where yet, any suggestions? Next weekend is a bust since I have a son graduating from Western - busy time of year.

I have noticed a certain lack of messages on this board since last Thursday. (I'll bet Basser is happy.) That's the last time I spoke with TM. He was saying something about finding a new place of employment. My guess is that he did and perhaps doesn't have a machine at home. It could be that any new employer monitors his use and he doesn't have the opportunity to post. He has my office number and I'll let you know if I hear from him.

If I can't get any bass info, I don't mind reading your fly stuff. :p
I'm fixn to do some fly fishing sooner or later. I think I'll have to send my bass rods to the shop, so I don't have a choice. \:D

I talked to the "Master" before the weekend and discussed the weather report. The word "breezy" in terms of wind made me nervous.... so we elected to put the trip off.

I had problems with Netscape this week and couldn't log on. Found a "Mr Fix-it" who solved my problem so I'm back.

I'm leaving Friday after work for a week up in BC. I'll let you know info on 3/4 of the lakes I'll be fishing up there.

Two of the lakes are classed as "best in BC" and the other is reputed to have trout up to 20 lbs in it. Me..I'll be happy.. actually estatic if I could hang some between 6-8 pounds. The "best of BC" lakes.. I'd like to see a good mayfly or caddis hatch on them and have fun fishing dries.

Got lots of "leeches" tied for the other lake. Shoot.. I've been tying them for two months now.

Basser: I learned to cast on Mason Lake fishin' for bass. That was back in the days when the lures were simple - just surface or sinking plugs. There were also a lot of trees (structure) on the shoreline, making accurate casts a necessity. Still a decent bass lake but the shore is lined with homes and the first thing to go is the structure. Just not the same without the downed treees & beaver lodges. Stick with what you like, I also like reading your info. I just might blow the dust off those old plugs!
