One of the most sickening poaching stories I have heard of

This happened on my family ranch in Eastern MT. My uncle sold this guy 20,000 acres of prime hunting country and my Grandpa has leased several thousand acres to him. Several thousand acres of the best hunting on the ranch that I used to be able to hunt.

The worst part of the story is that it looks like the guys high priced lawyers are getting him out of most of it.

So is the land back up for lease??? Lets make this a positive thing. I got an Idea.

Not yet, these guys have high powered lawyers and seem to be beating the charges so far. I have a couple friends that are prosecuting attorneys in MT and I have sent them messages regaurding this case.

not a year to year lease? if its not a long term lease Your Grampa should tell em to F off. I would much rather lease some good land than pay a guide.

Trophy hunters...go figure.

What a waste. I love elk meat! I just don't get it. Having a freezer full of game, and spreading it around is as much bragging rights as shooting the animal.

With all the evidence it sounds like they have on this guy. It hard to believe he could get off.
