Has anyone here heard of Duck Lake near Creston BC?It holds monster bass and is really close to Washington.I am trying to start a tourney on this lake and need interest from all over...the lake is no motors and no electrics either. It is at most 8 feet deep and is really weedy. There are alson sunfish, perch, and catfish. The perch in the lake are pretty big...i caught one around a pound. If you are interested..post! \:D

I'm not really into tourments being a fly fisher, but I'm very interested in this lake, I read a little bit about it. Do you know how far it is from Bellingham? any info would be appreciated. Good luck with your tournement plans, I read there are some monsters in that lake.

404 - I'd be intrested in either a tournament or something simpler like a group trip. What are you thinking about format: float tubes only ? when? how?, etc. Either sounds like fun. Let me know if I can help. Bart

Yes...a group trip would be great.
Steven...I dont know how far Duck is from Bellingham, but my guess would be pretty far.
Float tubes are almost impossable to use on Duck as the max depth is 6 feet and weeds grow to the surface. The best way to fish it would be in a canoe or a rowboat and some people use driftboats.Fly fishing is really good with surface poppers.Have any of you been to this lake?Anyway...if you want to do a group trip...email me. \:D \:D
