It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

My buddy got into a little pissing match with this dude in a sled the other day.

It was all pretty low-key until the guy told my buddy to go back to Seattle, where he belonged.

rofl

Man, the f-bombs were flying after that. That dude could have been saying sh!t about his mom and not gotten a reaction like that.

Apparently, not everyone thinks Seattle is cool.

I was going to be a smartass and point out how ridiculous it is for one rat race to get pissy about a rat race of another name. To folks who live on this side of the water, it's all the same over there.

Then I remembered....I live in Jefferson County....aka.....Li'l King County....fk me.

Lived in Clallam County for about 20 years......but all good things come to an end. help

Even I remember when Seattle was considered a masculine city.

Californians and easterners ruined it.

"Even I remember when Seattle was considered a masculine city."

I've lived in western WA my entire life and can never recall any gender identification of Seattle, or any other city for that matter. Do recall that Tacoma, Everett, and B'ham were considered the armpits of Puget Sound, however. Whew, bad places to be downwind from.

"Libtards ruined it... grin" And further evidence of Hankster's cluelessness.

The only thing that is truly wrong with Seattle is that I-5 goes right through it and bottlenecks down to 2 northbound lanes. That's certifiably stupid. What's wrong with the article, like any of its ilk, is the author's presumptuousness. Not everyone who lives in Seattle is thankful about it. And those who are thankful for it don't share all the same reasons. But articles based on facts and logic don't sell well.

Actually, Seattle's official nickname until 1982 was "Queen City."

The title was transferred to San Francisco after that. wink

Did this guy not wait his turn or something? Did he jump in mid-run? That always pisses me off. Its almost worse than dragging your toes after someone has spent a lot of time manicuring a sweet run.

I didn't get to go sledding during this last snow storm, but I know emotions can run high on the slopes. It seems like nobody practices any hillside ettiquette anymore.

As a local, we consider everyone from the I-5 corridor (Portland to Bellingham) to be "from Seattle".
