What's the word on the Blackmouth fishing? Any numbers or just the occasional fish? Depth? I just need some motivation to give it a shot. Endless trolling in crappy weather sucks, unless there's some pole slammin going on.

FFF, You may want to give Redondo a try. I have been hearing locals catching blackmouth off of the pier there. If you are looking to take the boat out to Redondo fish parallel to the shore in close and fish shallow on cloudy days. When Redondo first opened in June I was hitting them pretty consistently. Look for baitfish and you will find blackmouth. wink

Ah SH** FFF, I was looking at your personal info and realized I know who you are. You know all about Redondo! Forget the preceding posting. Have you gone up to Flaming Geyser yet? laugh

Hehe, yeah i kinda thought you'd catch on. Yeah i 've heard a little about redondo and Pt. D but it's just the usual hype i think. Same thing in F/H News but i would like some specifics not in print. A few people have said Fox Island is decent in about 80 ft of water, landing 1 or 2 a day. And i thought redondo was pretty slow this year for kings. Which has kinda soured the thought of going there. And there's no dock.

No havn't been anywhere in the last 15 days or so. Been sick with the flu, but kinda good timing since the rivers are wasted, hehe, and my paycheck. Me and John are thinking of hitting the Cowlitz on Saturday if ya wanta tag along. My Super from work went on the weekend and bagged 6 nice chromies. It may be a scenic drive or a trip to remember.

Thanks for the invite! I think I am going to stick close to home on Saturday. Gotta work that night. Besides the fishing at Flaming Geyser should still be good no matter how much rain we get.
