G-Man added a thread about Walleye and Tigers in Sammish. I've always fished for Walleye in Eastern Washington and was surprised to hear there may be Walleyes in Sammish. Are there any other Westside lakes that have them??? The eastern drive is just too far for a day trip. Backyard bugeyes eek would be great. Anyone have any info??? Thanx

NO lakes on this side that I'm aware of. The nearest would be the Columbia river (not so near). I sure wish we had a few west side lakes. Guess WDFW is worried about them being spread around.

Troutmatser,
I'm not in favor of anyone illegally planting walleye either. I just wish we had a few lakes on this side that had them. I enjoy catching walleye and eating them. I'll bet some of these west side lakes would work really well for walleye. Reminds me of how good the fishing for walleye was in lakes back in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
