Years ago when I lived up there (1985-89) I regularly hit Green Lake at this time of the year. Most bait fishing eggs off of the bottom, but I did catch a few browns, many decent rainbows, and a few bullhead catfish. They now have the tiger muskies there, too. Andy

I live next to Lake ballinger, and there are people fishing off the dock and from the shore all the time. Sunday there was even a brave soul out in a float tube,Burrrrrrrrrrrrrr! They are there ,I wouldnt eat them as the was a nice big sewage spill some years back that coated the bottom. That is why waterski tournaments are not held there anymore, it churned up the crap opps I mean sludge , signed young whippersnapper laugh

thanks for info, but isnt Green lake pretty crowded all the year?

Will check it out anyway. any proven technique to try? where to look for those fish this time of year?

is it really possible to catch anything from lakes sammamish or washintgton from bank?
I've seen a map that says there is a good place around south part of sammamish right where a state park is. I would expect fish to go deeper this time of year, but spring or fall? anybody ever tried it?

Bitterlake is small and I see people pulling out little "Bows". I only see 1 or 2 guys there when I drive by.
Have you tried by the Arboretum?
I see guys along the sides into lake washington fishing.

Don't forget to try smaller size Salmon or steelie eggs in the skein. Fish them on the bottom, I have caught nice Browns this way when nothing ealse was working.
