Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew what is going on with the Weyerhauser permits - heard they had sold the land and was wondering if anyone knew what the process would be in the future?

Thanks, Dutchman

I called Sportee's in Redmond and inquired, and they said that they were selling the 2002 permits and the permits start tomorrow!

I didn't check on the price, but I guess it is the same old story for this year, at least.

I have been very interested in how the swap shapes up due to fishing access, and I have heard that the access is expected to be allowed in a very similar way to how it has been under Weyerhauser's ownership.

Thank you. I called Tuttles in Enumclaw on Tues. and he hadn't recieved his yet and was waiting for A reply to A call he made to them.Like you I have been concerned about the future up there. If we still have access I hope they continue the permit process. Just to keep the quality and quantity of people where it needs to be. I really do hate to be that negative but it is A sad reality to day.

Any further word on this situation? Will the permit system still be in effect?

Thanks!
