TO: Zen, My Fallen Fishnbuddy

People who write on F&G outhouse walls
Roll their powerbait in tiny little balls

People who use them balls of bait
Never learn what the big ones ate.

Repent oh Zen!
Cast aside that 6-pack of glitter powerbait.
Keep not company with the bloody bucket brigade.
Return to the growing ranks of reel sportsmen

FLY FISHING ONLY----CATCH AND RELEASE!!!
Ommmmmmm, Ommmmmmmm, Ommmmmmm! :p

A men ,I spoke with Zen this morning, He thinks I sniff jars? Not so ,and I dont reply to those that fish bait.No worms ,or eggs, just to lazy to post anything crazy! I really dont have access to the net at work so when I get home I have been to tired to post anything. I will be making my next trip to the ****** lake on the last weekend of the month.
It is my b-day weekend (30th) day not age . Presents will be welcomed. Hopefully the weather will be warmer by that weekend.
Is Zen a baiter? only he knows. laugh

My birthday came and went. At my age I don't even celebrate them anymore. To me it's just another day. When you as old as I am who cares.

To my two closed-minded fishing (I hesitate to say "friends") acquaintences,

Those who cry about powerbait are the same ones who previously becryed the use of chronies and indicators. They are people of closed minds.

One must fish powerbait to hone ones ability to detect the most minute of strikes when fishing the sunken nymph. Fishing powerbait, one learns to detect the smallest of nudges of monofiliment line. Something the two of you will never experience.

One of you fishes with a ball of fluff to suspend your flies in mid-depth.. the other uses what appears a discarded christmas ornament as an indicator. FishinFellaS...you know who you are. TM.. I hesitate to even call him by name.

Repent... and fish powerbait.... and learn the way of the twitch.. watch your line twitch... and see if you can hook the wary trout.

Then learn the way of removing tiny egg hooks from deep in trout.

Bill ....er... Zen Leecher

I may fish the secret lake with a lure made of powerbait moulded into the shape of a tiny goldfish.. or a rolled orb to simulate fish ova...but with glittery attractants within. I will cast the powerbait fly and fish it dead drift!

I just read somewhere that Zen Powerbaiter is soon to be reborn as Zen Leecher!
Can it be that even as he preaches to us the false value of learning to detect the
twitching line thing,he realizes the error of his ways and is repentant? I hope so.

Damn, I hope the fishing starts soon. This internet preaching business is not near
as much fun, but kinda breaks the boredom. Since all my flies is tied for the season,
I'm reduced to twiddling my thumbs and watching it snow out my windows and
preaching the conservation word. C&R Zen did youse forget.

Ron,

I'm just starting to tie my flies for this year. Spent Saturday dyeing some Hun feathers and a pheasant rump and tail.

I'll have a better floating dragon nymph than any of you guys!
