I just heard this on the radio and had to check it out. It couldn't have cost anything to make but how much I ad time will they spend? They'll probably take it national to lure people to state of "Say WA...!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOj3rku0lrA

PSA's have been around as long as USA's been a country. You're as predictable as a what a new roll of toilet paper will end up as in 3 days.

Was 1% for the arts around back then? How about ESL in the classroom? Sound barriers on the ship canal bridge that engineers said wouldn't work? Self cleaning toilets which were already proven not functional in SF?

We, The People Of Washington State, would like to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars right now to advertise on radio and telvision, the stupidest PSA of all time. Most of you are so partisan that any conversation about politics is not possible. Is this a good use of our tax dollars? If THEY want us to get this message why not just copy and laminate a bunch of flyers and post them outside and inside public restrooms? KK, when i think of a deck hand below deck looking out of a porthole the size of a pin head you are what comes to mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ps8_M0N9DiA&feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FISDABLXyoAI may be a dumbass. That's a step up the ladder from you apologists. You all know what the definition of insanity is so I won't regurgitate it here.

Because then you'd piss and moan about that, too.

If you add up enough dollars it will eventually amount to a million. Add some millions together and you'll end up with a billion, etc. I think too many people have lost sight of that.

I don't remeber it that way....... In fact, I don't remember that at all;) If that's what really happened then my excuse is I never drank before or since:) That was a couple months after my divorce, no plans on staying the night, no sleeping bag or blanket, a couple bottles of Cuervo to share with the guys, etc. I had a great time and didn't drive home until I'd slept it offthe next day and was sober. Thanks to whoever handed me that plate with steak and potatoes that night.... Broodbuster I think.
KK, you're good at insulting people but certainly don't add much else these days. As I said, being a dumbass is still a couple steps up the ladder from where you seem to be lately. What's your excuse for being such a complete tool?
Back on topic, I just heard that ad again on the radio. No denying that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard on radio or tv.

TFF. Now we got guys that are so much alike ragging on each other. 'Bout time for another PP reunion of sorts to better sort out the us's from them's.
Meanwhile, yeah, the PSA is pretty stupid. $$ down a rathole. Need an ad agency like Orygun used, "Hey Californicators, come visit us, bring your money, spend it, and then go the hell home!" Now that's honest tourism promotion. Maybe some state self introspection would be useful, as in, "WTF would anyone want to visit WA anyway?"
On wasting money, appropriations for this expense likely occurred when the state gov't. still thought it was solvent. Once money is appropriated, it's nigh on impossible to revoke it. But maybe not impossible, but since our gov't. has difficulty with the possible, expecting the nigh on impossible is setting the bar a tad high.
