Looking for places that Disabled people could fish at. Freshwater fishing only though. King County also. Seen some docks on the westend of the 520 bridge that looked good. Not shure if i could get there. New to town and takin the bus. If anyone has any ideas... thX

Lake Washington around Seward park has plenty of easy shore access you can get to. Also check north of Seward park along the west side of the lake. Good luck.

Green Lake had great fishing a number of years ago, and there is access galore.

Down in Elma there are the Vance Creek ponds with a special area built just for physially disabled folks. I know it is farther than you want to go, but there may be someone else out there who wants a safe place to go fishing. Thanks for bringing up the topic.

Hey Big Fish,
I would gladly add a disabled section to the web site if you (or someone else) is willing to do the work. The old WDFW lake discriptions that are on the site often mention disabled access, but the information is scattered on the site. A section with all the info in one place would be nice. I don't have the energy to take on this project now, especially as we approach the busy months for reports coming in.
E-mail me if you're interested. No web code knowledge neeed, just info gathering and organizing.
