if its not on private land, and it has public access, its not a secret lake.

ive seen a few of my favorites listed like that before, i wouldn't worry about it too much, if they don't know how to fish that lake they won't be taking very many fish out of your favorite lake...there will be plenty left for those who know it's secrets...

No. Just a pontoon boat. But it's not big enough for rivers. And if I had a death wish I would take it down a river. Jim

Oldman,
A pontoon boat would be even better.I was thinking maybe we could hook up to fish one of my last secrets this summer?I have been the only one fishing this beaver pond for quite awhile. It is disguised as a shallow weed bed but is spring fed in the center and is full of wild cutty's.The center is twenty feet deep with peat bog floating around it that makes you feel like you are somewhere in alaska.Sound familiar from your days in kitsap county?I never catch more than a couple of fish a trip because they are so spooky but it is peacefull excursion. It could be coupled with a trip to cady lk. smile

Not really. It's been over 40 years since I've fished over there. By now every place that I've been to is long forgotten. I fished alot when I was a kid. We would hitch hike every place we went. It was alot safer then. smile laugh

Hey oldman
are you aware of a "secret lake" in your neck of the woods, it starts with an "M" and is a walk in only?

Tried it last summer, and it has some nice trout, decent sized, never knew till last summer it even existed.

If you don't email me, if you do, then you know not a whole lot of people know, even if they do it is hard too find.

Woodsy Wayne I sent you a private message. Check your profile.

ItlCleo I would like to hook up with you but my time away is limited. I'm retired but the old lady works and now that I'm saddled with two grandkids it's kinda hard to get away. But I seem to manage. laugh
