The only problem with Thompson is that we have a pretty physical team, and if they put a body on him and knock him around a bit, it'll knock him off his game...that'd be my UW game plan, at least for the start of the game.
Fish on...

I think it will come down to rebounding. The Cougs got schooled by Williams last week under the basket against Zona. The game plan will be to get Bryan-Ammaning and Ndiaye in foul trouble. Klay Thompson is too big to get knocked around by any of the Washington guards. Isiah Thomas is pretty quick and will be hard to guard.

As long as no one fouls out or gets hurt, it should be good game. With 4 nephews and a niece either being an alum or at WSU now and a wife, Goddaughter and nephew are either an alum or attending UW now, I'm officially on the fence.

I think the Huskies will miss 6' 3" Abdul Gaddy's size and experience in this game. Isaiah Thomas has been great since he took over for Gaddy, but he's not catching anybody by surprise in Pullman. A key might be whether Ross or Wilcox can put up double digits coming off the bench. Justin Holiday might play a major role in deciding the outcome, also. If the senior's offensive output matches his defensive effort, he could be the difference in the game.
Can't wait to see the first Husky alley-oop slam dunkaroo! That'll quiet the crowd. After the third one, they'll be applauding in Pullman...NOT!
The line is Washington by 3. That's free throws made or missed right there.

Nice win Cougars and Cougfans. Now, both WA teams need to go down to Oregon/Oregon State and run the table. See ya in Seattle.

Thompson played a terrific game... 4-9 At the foul line. Probably would've helped if had a defender in front, while shooting. Mf

I thought the Cougs D gave them a slight edge tonight. Cougs could have managed the clock a bit better. 4th quarter outside jumper with 21 on the shot clock and you've got the lead? The next one will be in the Dawg house. Should be another good one.

I watched the first half. Looked like the Huskies were shooting well from 3 pt land and getting some rebounds and put backs in under the basket.
Fans got on VO when he was called for a charge. Lock up your daughter, Lock up your wife! Bone took out an ad in the Daily Evergreen to ask fans to show some class.
Aiden shot well. Motem had a couple of nice rebound put backs after forgetting to block out. Casto got his third foul just before half.
I listened to the second half on the radio. Will have to watch the replay or tape of the second half. WSU has not been a good second half team this year. Thought they might Dawg-it!
They need to work hard against Oregon in Eugene Thursday. What a funky colored yellow court and the glare is hard on the eyes.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Coogs won...congrats.
As a die hard UW fan, that game was a complete disappointment! UW defense was sketchy, turn-overs pathetic, adjusting to the zone defense non-existant....just an ugly game that the dawgs still could of won. Maybe a dose of reality??? I hope!

The Cougs defense was just more physical. 4 out of the 5 starter's were hit with four fouls with >10 min. left in the game. The Cougs bench were phucking hungry for playing time. They more than held there own against the Husky starter's. There's NO shame in losing to the Cougs on the road. Keep your heads up Dawg fan's. Mf

The Huskies.....poor D, poor shooting, poor shot selection, poor rebounding. No surprise they lost. The Cougs, shot better, better D, much better hustle....winners. Simple concept, simple win.
I've been coaching b-ball for over 15 years, HS, select, AAU, travel, etc., the one thing that really bothered me about this game and I am sure that John Wooden is turning over in his grave.........coaches wearing tennis shoes with suit and tie. Are you fuc&ing kidding me? If you can't stand in dress shoes for 90 minutes, then put yourself on the next train to gayville. I saw a HS coach a few weeks ago wearing that get up and I thought, "did you escape from the looney bin?". And the assistant coaches, who stand only during timeouts and at halftime..........maybe 15 minutes....wear them too.
