Been a few years since I've fished this lake, and was wondering if they ever fixed the public access problem it was having after they closed down the boat launch due to transients trashing the place? Great fishing lake. Is there anywhere to fish there from shore or launch a boat?

You can still launch a boat at the lake...as long as it's small enough to carry. You can also go to the resort and launch a boat. I packed a float tube down there a couple yrs back...and caught a ton of perch, crappie and bass.

Loc: Tacoma Wa,
The public launch is still closed. They did clear it so they could survey it or something. They were waiting for funding approval.
Resort I would not call it a resort.
How about erickson's boat launch, it is a slide ramp works ok for the light stuff. I pull my boat up the ramp with my truck, it is pretty steep.
You can fish off the dock for $3, if you like lots of people. Also a $3 launch fee. You can rent a 12' boat for $12 I gotta figure not many people have been fishing for cats since they closed the launch. so they should be doing fine.... (big & tasty) laugh I say check it out eek

All of the cats I've seen out of here are bullheads.
But they taste just fine in my frying pan laugh

I'll take bullhead over channel cat anytime.
Better eating For flavor.
If you dont like the taste of fish,You'll
love channel cat.
