They happened to be in college right when we were getting good at Aberdeen and most on our team loved watching them play. Dood, whaddya mean just getting good? You took state in 1982!

You missed the party this weekend Biff. I think I drank all the whiskey in Ireland.
Missed the doc but I'll have to catch that. I'll never forget Webber's imfamous TO.
You been out on the water at all?

Nobody else saw this? Great documentary for college hoop junkies. Did you notice the show was produced by Jalen?
There has been a lot of hoopla since it aired in regards to Jalen's comments about the Duke team, mostly about saying that Duke "didn't recruit players like him" and that he thought Grant Hill was an "Uncle Tom" for attending Duke. Right or wrong, I appreciated his candidness about his feelings towards Duke and its' players when he was 17 year old kid from Detroit's inner city.
I heard Bobby Hurley on the Dan Patrick show last week and he sounded pretty pissed; he vehemently defended himself and his Duke teammates, and was quick to remind everyone that Duke was 3-0 against the Fab Five.
It was good to get the true story about their relationship with Michigan booster Ed Martin, which led to a grand jury investigation and Michigan vacating all the games the Fab Five won.
Lastly, I think Webber is more than a coward for not participating in the documentary.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Jalen and C Webb had to face the tough streets of Ann Arbor while Grant was Uncle Tomming at Duke? Don't joke me, Jalen. You have less connection to the tough streets now than I do, and it's been that way since you were a college kid.........in Ann Arbor, not Detroit.

Whenever I hear blacks use the term "Uncle Tom" it usaully means that person is a well behaved citizen, not a thug POS.

Dan, Jalen was referring to where and how he grew up as a youngster. He obviously didn't grow up in Ann Arbor, he just went to college there. He grew up in Detroit, with three siblings, and was raised by his mom who was a key puncher at Chrysler. Maybe not the tough streets, but no silver spoon either....and very far from Grant's upper class upbringing. I suspect his comments about Grant and Duke probably stemmed from jealousy more than anything.
Funny thing is that Duke did in fact recruit his best buddy C Webb.
