It's with a heavy and sad heart that we learned of the passing of Sol last night.

Even though Sol hasn't posted on PP in a while, he will be greatly missed on PP by a lot of the members, including me.

R.I.P, buddy. You will be missed!

Those of us who got to know Tim throughout the last decade can't say he didn't make life more interesting.

Wherever you are Tim, I hope it's a happy place.

Fish on...

Certainly sad news. I never knew him but he was certainly a large part of this board at one point.

My thoughts go out to his family and the large number of you that have been friends with him and have showed him support.

Stam, You were lucky man, Iknow you too guys have been friends for like 20 years and I know you guys killed a ton of animals together.
Keep those memories man, you guys had some classic hunts !!

I still think one of the best times is the time we started at my house and he over indulged like he was so good at, then ate the "bad" burrito and was sick all day while you and I cremed the Kings !!!

I will miss that terribly !! I love ya brother RIP !!!

Peace

A very sad loss for Tim's family and friends.

I didn't know him, I spoke to him one or two times on the phone. But what I know of him was that he was intelligent and talented in many different ways.

RIP.

Though I've never met him, I too send my condolences to Tim's fam and friends.

I remember grabbing an attention grabbing copy (2007 Winter) of S&SJ thinking, "Jeebus that's a pig steelhead" Flipping the cover open I read, "Tim Wallis.....with a 27-pound steelhead caught on a spoon from B.C's Kispiox River. Steve Maris Photo."

Nice fish, Tim...

The Legend will live on Bucket, I will make sure of that......
I plan on writting a piece about Tim and his philosphy's of fishing and how the internet ruined fishing, which I always thought was funny because at one time he was the most prolific and incindary poster on this site.
I dont when I will stop crying, but probably when I am done with this bottle of pendelton I got in his memory..............

Fu..ck I am going to miss that guy

Peace

He definitely made the board more interesting and I always hoped he would have returned eventually.

He had the coolest tattoo from that thread years ago also.

Very sad to hear.
