Ron Paul has zero chance because he says what he thinks. Last night he said he would not have voted for the Civil Rights Act. Even though he may have some valid logic for that remark it shows a level of political naiveté that assures he will never win the nomination.

BTW he was my next choice after Huckabee.

Candidates who can't win the GOP nomination for various reasons far outnumber those who can. Candidates who can win the GOP nomination and a general election are nonexistent at this point.

As I said months ago, any R with half a brain will not run in 2012, because they have very little chance of winning, no matter who they put up...and you can put some of that blame right at the feet of the Tea Baggers.

To win the nomination, an R is going to have to suck up to a big bunch of the most ignorant, stupid, bigoted, and retarded political activists ever...the Tea Party.

They'll get so covered in pigshit and dogpiss due to all the fundamentally ridiculous things they'll have to say to get the Baggers on their train that when the...uh..."winner"...emerges, they will be the most flawed and laughable candidate for President from a national party in modern times.

Obama won't even have to campaign...there's the 40% that will vote for him no matter what, the 40% who will vote for anyone but him, no matter what...and then the other 20% will be treated to re-runs of all the unbelievably stupid things the R candiate will have to say during the primaries in order to win the nomination.

All the D's will have to is "roll the tape"...the R candidate will have already lost the national election on his/her way to securing the R nomination.

Book it.

After that occurs, if the R's don't get their heads out of their collective ass and start telling the fundamentalists and the TeaBaggers to get the fukk out of their party, it will be repeated in 2016, and again and again until they do so.

I'll get really worried about the R's chances of winning when KK and Todd come in here and pick them to win. Their handicapping conservative candidates and their appeal is equivalent to having Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder judge a beauty contest.
