Ya that guy in the red hat was my dad. I was one of the other guys in there. We had way to short of an anchor so we just kinda motored around looking and caught a couple of fish here and there. Interesting day as we definitly need a longer rope next time. Oh well, you always learn something new on the water.

Hey fellas no need to wait for the chums in the Green, they are schooled up in the deep holes from 277 bridge on down stream along with the silvers.
C & R 4 today so go out and have some fun with these bruisers.
With a good rain they should be alot around by this weekend.

Bring a pair of polarized sunglasses with you, check out the deeper hole along the bridge and the faster water just barely upstream from the bridge and the chum are in there just holding there and milling around cause the low shallow water about 100 feet upstream.
As for the silvers at the bridge there-it's them no mouth silvers.

Went to the Soos Creek Hatchery today. Their board said they have had 6K coho return to the holding ponds so far this year. The entire return for last year was 41K coho. [wall]

i went down to the 277th hole, but there was 2 dudes pitchin crappie jigs, and i asked one guy and he said nuthin on, so i didnt stick around, maybe i will tonite, so is there alot of fish in ther eddie? worth my time? i still see some silvers jumping in there, easy, could it be there was 41k last year and 6 k this year, cuz of the nets and low water keeping the fish out in the ocean, its no wonder that the muckleshoots sell there salmon dinners at the casino so cheap..

Any word on whether this rain has brought some fresh silvers into the Green?

I was down at the 277th hole and the Hwy 18 carbody hole and IT IS SAD. I gave it two weeks off "SICK AS HELL" and then today where did all the water go? It is so low by 18 and as far as chums by 277th I didn't see any but two guys were trying with no luck.

That is all I know lately.

Very few in there compared to two weeks ago and they are DARK DARK DARK. and shy shy shy.

Thanks for the info Float Tuber. I may have to reconsider my choice of rivers for the weekend.

Good choice by you little fish. Sounds like you need to hang out and fish with someone who scouts the rivers during the day and then donates their time on the weekends @ your convenience.(not working on the house) So let me know where and when.

X-Man,
I thought it might be you... who else takes romantic strolls along Alki with their fishing rod in hand.

Yes I am fortunate to have friends working whacky schedules who can prescout for me. I'm thinking hard of where to head tomorrow. Will check in with you tonight.
