I fished Silver before out of my 10' pram. Got a new boat now that's a little bigger. Is there any
HP restrictions on Silver? I don't think so, but am curious. The new boat is big enough so our dog
can come out with us instead of being stuck in the camper.... and we know what bored dogs do in
campers.

Also, does Silver still have the same restrictions of Whatcom Co residents only the first weekend of
the season?

Hey Zen, Nice to here from you. Missed you this summer. Yes there is a H.P. restriction. 10 HP max. Most of the time I use my electric motor anyway. I'm not quite sure what you are referring to about the Whatcom county resident's only on opening day though. But I would definitely make reservations if that's when you plan on coming up. I usually wait a couple of day's and fish it during the week. Take Care.

My boat has two motors on it. One's bigger than the HP restriction, but the other is an 8hp.

I thought I saw ones there with bigger motors on opening day two years ago. At least it seemed that way.

Zen, as long as you are only using your 8hp, no problem. As far as reservations go Whatcon County residents can start making reservations on Jan.2, and I believe non-county residents can start making reservations on Apr.1. If you know someone up here have them make reservations for you and assure youself a campsite. It fills pretty quickly on the opening weekend. It's like a national holiday on the opener.
