Specific units not out yet but at least you know if you were drawn for a tag or not. My dad drew a cow tag for either Toutle or Mudflow! Should be a slam dunk with a rifle!

nice that I get to spend three times as much for nothing than I used too. Five years and counting since even got a second deer tag. This is getting ugly.

any one know anything about that Grand Ronde area. Looks steep and deep. No place for a fatass like me.

Art, it is steep and deep from what I've seen when fishing the Ground Round. No place for me either! LOL

Very steep and deep but theyre are a few spots that arent too bad. Access can be difficult with strict no trespass bordered with public property. It opens up in places but its river access up the Snake or Grande Rhonde. Or you can do it crazy like and back pack all your stuff in/out and set up a camp. Also Oregon border is close.

I got drawn for muzz tag for buck deer close to there. I'll be doing some scouting and happy to provide some input when I can. I got hosed on all other drawings.

starting to think that more points hinder instead of enhance draw chances. Maybe their software is blinked.
I did draw a second deer tag on zero points after a draw last year.
Know of a group of 2 that drew in my unit choices the Nov Quality buck tag with only one point!

I agree with rigged, I have as many points as you can get, Since inception and never draw a tag for Elk, My friend has drawn since inception, 2 Olympic tags, Bethal tag, Peaches ridge tag and last year both Teeanneway late bull and a buck tag. Ontop of two of the Timber raffles with little money spent. But should I also mention he spends many hours on Game Volenter work, On different Elk Programs..... Okay I think It's rigged. Or I just have bad luck, I am sitting on 13 points for Oregon also. But only looking for a Wenna bull tag there, So I think It may be awhile.... Maybe in 20 years by the time I'am 67 and Older, Better stay in some form of shape, Hopefully by then I won't consider round a shape, I will be drawn... For now it's off to chase lower Columbia rag horns again..... But they eat good also
