With the rivers all blown for the next few days,is anybody gonna hit the big lake? My brother hit it last week but was blown off the water in no time. He ran into a guy at the launch with 4 nice cutts, said he hit a few more but only kept the bigger ones.

Sounds like the big lake would be a good option. Fall and winter are good times to get big cutts. There was a write up in F&H News about Big Samm. I would imagine if Big Samm is going good for cutts Lake WA has to be good also.

Try trolling pop gear, wedding ring, and a big worm. It's a lot of tackle in the water but that setup has produced big cutts for me.

I hit the lake on Sunday around 10:00. Caught two nice fish immediately but then nothing. Do you have to fish the lake early?

By the way, we had more hits with the pop gear, wedding ring, worm combo than the spoon. However, the bigger fish was caught on the spoon (17").
