Whitefish?? Whitefish!! Tell me more. I tried a few years ago in the Raging River w/out much luck. Would be interested in the how and when/where near Flaming Geyser. Thanks!

lots of local rivers have whitefish in them. They gang up in the pools in the winter. That makes it easy to find them. For Flaming Geyser, drive out there walk to the pool by the R/C airfield and watch the bottom.

Use whatever you want to catch them, bait or flies... but fish it within 2-6 inches of the bottom.

Now.... back to trying to get in touch with Busy. Where the heck are you hiding?

If you want a place to fish for whitefish and be alone,try the Tye River. Out of Skykomish. It is open until the end of feb and who knows what else you will catch trying for white fish. It's open from Foss river to Alpine falls.
