Hey - I pulled a 14 ft boat & motor with my '70 bug. Not too far and not too steep a ramp. Some friends that are big mountain bikers have one they a bought Cozy Cruiser about 5 years ago. It's easy to tow and turn around on unimproved roads. The guy said it's a metal tent with a ready kitchen. After living on a wood boat for 25 years, he likes the fact there aren't any systems to fix as he's tired of maintenance chores. He doesn't like having to get out to take a leak in the middle of the night like us old codgers have to.

My neighbor has one that he was trying to sell a while back. It's very little. Aluminum. Nothing more than a place to sleep. You may be looking for something a little larger?

They are looking for a zero maintenance little thing that will get them out of the tent. They ride touring bikes and do rides such as the STP and the RSVP to BC. They are also really, really cheap and don't want anything too spendy. Think I found one: 850 lbs. http://www.threefeathersmfg.com/pine.html

That's real similar. To me, they look too small to be practical, but if it does what they want, then that's gr8. My neighbor's just lives under a tarp now.

Ok, I'll stop on the way home after work tomorrow and see if he's around. He's a knife maker and does a lot of shows.
