I recently bought the 4th edition of this great book, so I don't need my 2nd edition anymore. So I figure I'll give it away to someone for the price of postage. Mike gets first dibs, but if he doesn't want it, it's up for grabs to whoever wants to send me the cost for postage through PayPal. It'll probably be about $3. The book is only about 5 years old, so it's still a great resource.

hello

Thanks for the first consideration Arklier. Is it Hennings Fishing Guide? I have the second edition. A nice book, not as complete as the Washington State Fishing Guide by Stan Jones but it does have a fair number of maps in it.

No, it's the second edition of this book:
Washington Fishing book at Amazon

This one shows the 4th edition, which as far as I can tell is only an update. It has directions to, info on, and species listings for just about every stream, lake, river and pond in the state. It's just shy of 500 pages.

I have both of the books you guys are talking about plus
one called "Washington's Best Lake Fly Fishing",by Nathan Caproni
which is usefull too. I use all three on occasion.
But one less known book I have is the one I use the most.
It's called "Lakes of Washington" volume II, Eastern Washington.
Second Edition. It's published by the Dept of Ecology and was obtainable
from them.
I don't know if it's been updated, but suspect so. Also I'm sure there is
a Volume I for Western Washington.
It lists every lake and beaver pond and puddle of any size in the
entire region by legal description. It has information on size and
depth of many of the more significant waters. Also lists info. on water
chemistry of our alkaline lakes as well as fish species for some lakes
and waterfoul useage value of some of the shallower ones.
It's a great book for the fisherman, duckhunter to own.

I'll take it!

I don't do the Pay Pal stuff. Can you e-mail me with your address and I'll mail you a check for postage and shipping?

Thanks Arklier, it's very nice of you to think of me. thumbs
