Been fishing the Nisqually for about 13 years now since dad was reassigned to Ft. lewis. Most of those years after age 21 I've had to get a range pass to fish the Ft. lewis side of the river. Easy enough to do, but yesterday on my early scouting trip I was told by the MP "now it just the hired security that comes down " that they want all people who get a pass to park up on the road and walk in, but the people with military ID can drive in. Now when the run gets good your going to have 60 or so cars parked up on the road with cars driving by going 40-50 in a 35. I can just hear the crashing coming. The Nisqually is already one of the hardest rivers to fish. Having only a 1 mile stretch below the Handicap spot to fish where you don"t need a ft lewis pass or pay to fish spot. Now even about the train tressel you have to pay the campground to fish. what a joke that one is. Just about all of the river is surround by Ft. lewis or the Reservation. Before you know it that road will be gated and only the natives will have the key if they had it their way. Just let me drive my car to the river. It's me and a group of the regulars a few older guys that bring the trash bags down and take them out.

So that's my rant.
