Talked to Tuttles gun shop in Enumclaw today and it is all bad news.He talked to weyerhauser and because it seems the sale of the land above North Bend is eminent,they will no be issuing permits this year.I wll be joining all those who fish those great lakes and the Tolt river up there in mourning for the loss of a great fishery.

I agree. It is sad to lose access to such a place. Spent a lot of time poking around up there. Deer, osprey, loons & bear - oh yeah, fish!

Perhaps the new owner will start a program like Weyco.

Three years ago I caught A 21 inch Rainbow on the Tolt on opening day. The biggest I have caught on any river in Wash. The beauty of it I was probably fifteen miles from the nearesd soul. I really love it up there

I have spent alot of time up there also over the years hunting and fishing. It's ashame that this is happening. It's awful to lose a place like that so close to home.
