Well lets see, the CBO identified 100 billion in cuts to government agencies that are duplication or do nothing. Dead silence from BOTH the D's & R's as that would require real effort and political back lash from the federal employees AND constituents but it would cover these funding short falls and others.

You gotta stop cherry picking Dave! D's ain't no better than the R's or visa versa. Just depends on if your ox is the one getting the whack. You could cut federal spending 10% and not impact services and this includes the military. Want to watch ole Patty and Norm go nuts? Dump the Trident boomer subs or the refueling tankers or the redeployed carriers, it is amazing what happens in Lib world. No different on the conserv side with entitlements and military. Get the troops out of Iraq, Afghanistan, Japan, Korea, Europe and you will see the military budget reductions needed.
