so we harvested a bunch in the garden this weekend...had a ton of work to do...ill post another project we did...but this is my garden so far for the year and i was really happy to get some nice hops smile

they were sooooo pretty

i was going to say smell my fingers for the new subject line but i didnt think it would be a good thing smile

these are the Chinook hops...they need to dry

these are the Cascade hops...which are by far one of my fav hops

tony picking some Cascade hops...we filled two of those jars and half of a reusable shopping bag

hop heaven

me..enjoying some hops afterward...of course we picked a really hot day to do this and now they are taking forever to dry

and a couple of my pics from what we harvested this weekend

What kind of home brew are you cooking those cukes in? I've got a metric ton of cukes I need to do something with....

anyway...yep...hubby is brewing beer quite a bit...when we build the garage he will have his own beer room just for brewing smile i get more say on the house...he can do what he wants with the garage as long as they will be about the same color smile cant have contrasting colors...hahahah

right now im drinking a really yummie citra special...that has some special malt and lots of yummie citra hops smile i cant wait till we can get some simcoe hops then he can make the 90 min IPA again...that is yummmmmmy....but the citra special is really tasty smile

Nice hop harvest! Looking forward to picking mine soon. When drying them, I put a box fan on low to circulate the air around them. Cuts the time down.
