I spotted the Easy Limits boat as it was getting on I-90 over by George. It didn't appear to be loaded with trout. It sat real high on the trailer.

We were coming back from a weekend of turkey hunting.

In guy-speak, when he says he went out turkey hunting and doesn't brag about the results... ... well.... it means he got skunked again.

The guy I was with got a turkey and I missed/had a shot/whatever it's called on the last day as we were headed out.

So, how did the Easy Limits boat do last weekend? Was the fishing good on Blue Lake?

Even though Carl is a stinkin' bait usin', lure tossin' fisherman I would never class him as a turkey.

Carl, I'll be at the Potholes and Banks this coming weekend. Potholes on Friday and Sunday, and Saturday at Banks.

... won't say what I'll be using.... but it will be on either a spinning rod or a casting rod.

The Banks Lake trout fishery is red hot, so I hear. The walleye fishery is not real good right now. A guy at Big Wallys was telling me to look for walleye up by the Million Dollar Mile launch.

I heard the same thing about Banks Lake trout. Heard the use a dodger and fly combo.

I'm trying to find out what color 4/0 dodger is being used..... at least it's a fly behind it.

I'll give you my report after next weekend.

If you're going to Neah Bay soon, let me know how you do. I'm headed there for Memorial Day week. Staying at the Cape. Haven't been to Neah Bay for about 10 years.
